Sources behind AI answers. Google AI Overview citations (✓ cited) are real retrieved pages; Claude / ChatGPT sources (≈ AI-stated) are self-reported by the model after answering — useful as attribution, but not a verified record of what it read.

When AI recommends where to research or buy, it often cites Reddit, Facebook Groups, and YouTube alongside traditional retailers. This happens because:

• Reddit — AI platforms treat Reddit threads as authentic consumer reviews. When someone asks "best aircon Philippines," AI pulls from r/Philippines and similar threads where real users share experiences.
• YouTube — Product review videos are cited as sources for hands-on opinions, especially for appliances where visual demos matter.
• Facebook — Filipino consumer groups on Facebook (like appliance buy-and-sell groups) are referenced for real-world pricing and availability.

PR implication: Community engagement and influencer seeding on these platforms directly influences what AI tells consumers. This is a GEO opportunity beyond traditional media.

Philippine news outlets, tech blogs, and publications that AI explicitly cited. Note: AI platforms rarely name editorial sources for product queries — they absorb information from media during training but typically don't cite it. PR impact shows up in the ECHO scores, not in this source list.

Which AI platform favors which brand?

Which brands dominate each product category?

LG's AI visibility analyzed by product type, grouped under LG's four Business Units. Product categories are kept at a practical level rather than broken into granular sub-categories — with 72 queries, going too granular (24+ sub-categories) would leave most with only 1-3 data points each, making scores unreliable.

The 72 consumer questions scanned across AI platforms each week. Queries are grounded in Google Trends Philippines data and real Filipino search behavior.

How queries were selected: We analyzed Google Trends Philippines, Shopee/Lazada search data, TikTok trending appliance content, and real consumer questions asked to AI platforms. Queries reflect what Filipino consumers actually search for — not what we think they search for.

Query categories: Each query belongs to one of LG's reporting categories (General, K-Culture, Product, Gen Z, B2B) for alignment with LG Global's measurement framework.

Product classification: Queries are also tagged by product type (Refrigerator, TV, Air Conditioner, etc.) to enable product-level visibility analysis. This is determined by AI during the response parsing step.

Updates: The query library is reviewed and updated periodically based on seasonal trends, new LG product launches, and shifts in consumer search behavior.

Each pillar is scored 0–5. The composite is the equal-weighted average of the four pillars. All scoring is automatic.

Every pillar is a single rate mapped straight to the 0–5 scale — the underlying percentage × 5. No difficulty multipliers, no blended sub-weights:

100% → 5.0 · 80% → 4.0 · 60% → 3.0 · 40% → 2.0 · 20% → 1.0

Equity = Share of Voice · Competitiveness = head-to-head win rate · Health = positive-sentiment rate · Ownership = key-message pull-through. Each answers one question and draws on one signal, so no pillar double-counts another.

In practice: A brand strong on Equity (loud) but weak on Competitiveness (rarely chosen when a rival is present) has high awareness but weak advocacy — exactly the kind of gap ECHO reveals.

These sound similar but measure different things:

Mention Rate = How often LG appears at all. If LG is mentioned in 70 out of 100 AI responses, mention rate is 70%. This answers: "Is LG visible?"

Share of Voice (SOV) = LG's share of all brand mentions. If AI mentions LG 70 times, Samsung 90 times, and Panasonic 50 times (210 total brand mentions), LG's SOV is 33%. This answers: "How does LG compare to competitors?"

Why both matter: LG could have 70% mention rate (appears often) but only 25% SOV (Samsung appears more). High mention rate + low SOV means LG is present but not dominant. Equity is scored on Share of Voice; mention rate is shown alongside as supporting context.

The Competitiveness pillar measures whether AI recommends LG over rivals, not just mentions it. Here's the difference:

These exact phrases are checked in every AI response.

ECHO AI is an AI visibility measurement platform that tracks how brands appear across major AI assistants — ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude, and Google AI Overviews.

As AI assistants increasingly replace traditional search as consumers' first stop for product research, ECHO AI gives brands the visibility and control they need to understand — and shape — how they're represented in AI-generated answers, turning an invisible channel into a measurable, actionable PR opportunity.

Built by Ripple8 for LG Electronics Philippines, it scans hundreds of real consumer questions (like "best aircon brand Philippines" or "LG vs Samsung refrigerator Philippines") and measures four pillars of AI visibility: Equity (share of voice — LG's slice of all brand mentions), Competitiveness (head-to-head win rate when a rival is also in the answer), Health (positive sentiment when LG is mentioned), and Ownership (whether AI echoes LG's approved key messages).

The result is a unified score (0–5 scale) that shows exactly where a brand stands in the new AI-driven search landscape — so PR teams know where to focus their efforts to influence what AI tells consumers.

For scoring methodology, see the Scoring tab. For the full list of consumer queries scanned, see the Prompt Library tab.

This tool was originally built as PRISM AI. It was renamed ECHO AI to avoid confusion with LG Global's own PRISM framework. The scoring model was also restructured from PRISM's five pillars into ECHO's four (Relevance is folded into Equity's share of voice). Here is where each old pillar now lives:

The dashboard recomputes every scan's pillars from its raw records, so historical scans display under the current ECHO scoring automatically.
